Benchmarking of Plant Protection to Univ. Brawijaya

In order to strengthen academic networks and prepare for international accreditation, a team from the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Andalas made an official visit to the Agrotechnology Study Program and Agricultural Entomology Master Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya, on June 20, 2025. The team was represented by Prof. Dr. Ir. Novri Nelly, MP (Head of Department) and Dr. My Syahrawati (Head of Master Program).

The team was warmly received by the leadership of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya, consisting of the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Vice Dean I, Head of Faculty Quality Assurance, as well as the Head of the Agrotechnology Study Program and the Head of the Agricultural Entomology Master Program, and was even accompanied by the Head of the Doctoral Program. The discussion was dynamic, covering various important topics ranging from requirements for AQAS accreditation, expanding to research collaboration and publications between lecturers and students.

This activity is expected to be a good start in building stronger synergy between universities to support the improvement of the quality of agricultural higher education in Indonesia. This spirit of collaboration aligns with the shared commitment to producing graduates who are excellent and adaptive to global challenges in sustainable agriculture.
