Tridharma Collaboration: Plant Protection Department Establishes Partnership with BPTPH, West Sumatra
The Department of Plant Protection continues to strengthen its strategic partnerships by signing a Tridharma of Higher Education cooperation agreement with the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Plant Protection Center for Food Crops and Horticulture (BPTPH) of West Sumatra Province.
The signing ceremony was held today, April 17, 2026, at the Meeting Room of the Department of Plant Protection. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to enhancing synergy between academia and technical institutions in the field of plant protection.
Through this partnership, both parties agreed to support each other in various activities, including strengthening human resource capacity, conducting applied field research, developing technologies for the management of plant pests and diseases (OPT), and disseminating innovations to farmers and relevant stakeholders.
The Department of Plant Protection continues to strengthen its strategic partnerships by signing a Tridharma of Higher Education cooperation agreement with the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Plant Protection Center for Food Crops and Horticulture (BPTPH) of West Sumatra Province.
This collaboration is also expected to provide valuable opportunities for students to gain practical experience through internships, field research, and direct involvement in plant protection programs across West Sumatra.
