Summer Course on Plant Protection Supports Faculty’s International Community Service

Summer Course on Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Andalas, served as the organizing team for the Faculty’s International Community Service Program held in Puncak Lawang, Agam Regency, West Sumatra, Indonesia.
This activity brought together lecturers, international guests, and students participating in the Summer Course program to engage directly with local farmers and communities. The program focused on knowledge sharing in sustainable agriculture, plant protection practices, and the introduction of eco-friendly technologies that can be applied in highland farming systems.
The involvement strengthened the integration between academic activities and community service, ensuring that international participants experienced not only scientific sessions but also field-based learning and cultural interaction.
